Mr. Ivan Zhitenev (Streamer Electric Inc, CEO) has successfully finished TRANSALP - the most complicated and breathtaking cycle race for amateurs of sport. Our company is really proud of this achievement!
The challenge consist of 7 route legs, 883 km length, 18 alpine passes, 18 366 meters of total climb.

It may be recalled that Streamer Electric Inc is wellknown as competition sponsor for such sport events:
- All-Russian children "Vladimir Drachev Prize" biathlon competition;
- Toksovo round;

September 2007. Streamer started preparations for the exhibition “Russian Electric Networks – 2007” (Power Lines – 2007) to be held at the All-Russian Exhibition Center (Moscow) from 4 through 7 December 2007. See exposition layout here >>

July 2007. In accordance with the oil and gas industry technological normative requirements, LFA technical specifications were registered and entered in the Transneft register.

June 2007. An album of drafts describing LFA installation for railroad overhead AC supplying lines was published. The working drawings developed by the "Roszheldorproekt" joint-stock company were approved and put into operation by the Electrification and power supply department of the Russian Railways joint-stock company.

May 2007. Streamer took part in the 14th International Specialized Exhibition “Power engineering and Electrotechnology – 2007 (St. Petersburg) and the International Congress on Isolators, Arresters, and Bushings in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

March 2007. On 27th February 2007 the stockholders meeting elected Streamer’s new General Manager Igor Vladimirovich Ivanov, to assume office on 1st March 2007.

November 2006. The Federal Network Company’s inter-departmental commission approved three new types of 10 kV LFAs: stub long-flashover arrester (LFA-S), modular type LFAs with 1.5 m surface flashover length (LFA-M-1.5), and modular type LFAs for compact overhead lines  (LFA-M-- К).
